The Botox Injection Blog is a public project to bridge the scientific knowledge of Botox, also known as Botulinum Toxin A, with the everyday experience of patients who receive this cosmetic procedure.

With a vast number of patients recieving Botox injections there is now the opportunity to create a broad collection of empirical evidence from patients themselves. This knowledge base will benefit the scientific, medical and cosmetic communities through access to large volumes of information available on how Botox affects the patients receiving injections.

More importantly, patients now have a way to talk openly and publicly about their experiences. This gives prospective patients a place to discuss the Botox procedure beforehand with those who know it firsthand. It also provides those who have gotten injections a way to tell their story.

The Botox Injection Blog intends to become the largest repository of firsthand accounts of this cosmetic procedure and in the process revolutionize the way patients are able to process and interact about the procedures they undergo.
